The workshop Colored Stone Statuary in the ancient Mediterranean will take place from November 28th to December 1st in Pisa, Scuola Normale Superiore, Sala Stemmi and in Florence, Opificio delle Pietre Dure via Alfani 78.
The workshop is organized by Scuola Normale Superiore, Opificio delle pietre dure and J. Paul Getty Museum (Los Angeles). A visit to the museum and to the laboratories inside the Opificio delle pietre dure is planned on the last day of the workshop. The SAET takes part in the workshop with G. Adornato (organizing committee) and talks from G. Cafici, E. Falaschi and A. Poggio.
