The historic collaboration with the Universities of Florence and Siena and the Soprintendenza Archeologia will resume within the AITHALE project, which is focused on the history of the island of Elba and its resources in antiquity. It is therefore a project at regional scale, to which SAET has contributed by hosting seminars, publishing scientific papers and actively collaborating in some research strands.
SAET collaboration in this project include:
• continuation of the analysis of the corpus of literary sources related to the most ancient history of the island and to the subject of mining and metallurgical production;
• organization of seminars and meetings on current research;
• publication of contributions resulting from investigations conducted on Elba included in the SNS editorial plan.
