Starting from June 1st and for three weeks, SNS scholars and students will resume archaeological research on the site Rocca d’Entella within the SAET project “Segesta, Entella, Kaulonia”, thanks to a convention with the Parco di Segesta.
The ancient city of Entella, known for its bronze decrees and for being the last Islamic stronghold in Sicily under Frederik II, is, together with Segesta, one of the historical sites for SNS research in Sicily.
Teaching, student training, and outreach activities will accompany as usual the SNS field research in Entella.
