Six months after the first meeting, which brought together numerous young scholars to discuss the relationship between ritual practices and ancient navigation, the Organizing Committee is pleased to announce the call for papers for the second workshop of the SAET project Greek Lexicon of Ships and Navigation, to be held in January 2027. The theme of the workshop will be: “Wuthering Seas. Shipwrecks, Storms, and Atmospheric Phenomena in the Greek Maritime Lexicon”. The initiative is specifically aimed at PhD students and early-career researchers.
