The second epigraphic mission of the Scuola Normale Superiore di Pisa (SAET Laboratory) and the University of Naples L’Orientale to Gortyna of Crete took place this year as part of a larger project in agreement between the University of Naples L’Orientale, the Scuola Normale Superiore di Pisa, the Italian Archaeological School of Athens and the Ephorate of Antiquities of Heraklion, under the direction of Fabrizio Oppedisano and Ignazio Tantillo.
